Peach Glazed Ham Recipe {Easy Easter Recipes}

April 7, 2014 By admin 30 comments

Welcome! Are you a subscriber? Click here to receive my weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

Glazed ham recipes are popular for holidays and special occasions, especially because they’re so easy to prepare. This simple peach glazed ham recipe is no exception. It uses just four ingredients!

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and All You Magazine. All opinions are my own. http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV.

All You Magazine

I have a typo in my photo: It should say #LIFEforless not LIVE. My apologies!

Inspiration comes in all forms, and in the spring I sure need some fresh ideas. After coming off of a long, cold, snowy winter I devour any publication that has bright, cheery pictures. At the end of March, I saw the newest issue of All You Magazine on the stands at my local Meijer. I am sure I have told you this before, but I am a pretty loyal Meijer shopper. I love Target and my local supermarkets, but Meijer is my go-to weekly. Truth told, I go more often than that!

While looking for a few new Easter/Spring themed crafts, the cover of the current issue jumped out at me. So did the cover price: $2.99! That is in MY price range.

All You Magazine

So I grabbed an issue, stepped to the side, and made a quick shopping list of ingredients based off of the first 3 recipes I found. Peach Glazed Ham, Bow-Tie Pasta with Ham, and a lightened up version of chicken Parmesan.

A few things I loved about these recipes right off of the bat.

I knew my kids would like them, and they use very few ingredients. There is an option to scan each recipe with a smartphone, saving it to shop for ingredients! I like when I can integrate easy tech to make my shopping trip easier.

Another great thing I noticed as well:

On page 60 of the April 25 issue, there is a menu plan for the week, complete with the recipe, a photo AND the cost breakdown! If you make all 5 featured recipes, you are looking at a ballpark expense of $34. Not bad to feed your family for the week!

I LOVE MY JOB!!

Before I get too carried away, I want to share this simple peach glazed ham recipe.

This may quite possibly be my favorite treatment for ham- ever. Sweet and tangy, this glaze forms the best crunchy exterior for a shank or spiral sliced ham. Can you say ‘The Perfect Easter Ham Recipe’?

The ingredient list is 4 items long, with less than 5 minutes of prep time. It bakes away in the oven while you make sides or do the laundry. Or in my case, work on this post AND hang out with the family in the kitchen. That is the best of everything if you ask me!

I made this recipe as stated and made no substitutes. I used a spiral sliced ham because Meijer had some great ones on sale. And frankly, I prefer a shank portion spiral sliced ham for ease of serving. Plus, I like how the glaze seeps between all of the layers!

I do not comment, however after looking at a few of the responses on All You Magazine Coupon, Peach Glazed Ham Recipe And a Meijer Giveaway! - Basilmomma. I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it's okay. Could it be simply me or do some of these remarks appear like they are written by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing on additional online social sites, I would like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Would you list of the complete urls of your shared pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
