Pizza night is always a fun night at our house. Often, we’ll make individual flatbread pizzas so all of us can top them with our favorite toppings. When we’re sharing pizza, we like to make Sausage and Caramelized Onions Smoked Gouda Pizza. But this easy casserole recipe is a surefire winner in our house. It is packed with pepperoni and lots of cheese, plus crispy tater tots instead of pizza crust. You can’t go wrong!
Another Gooseberry Patch recipe that we enjoy is pepperoni pizza rolls, but those are more of a snack or appetizer than a main dish dinner. Great game day food for the guys, too.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom condensed soup
- 8 oz pizza sauce
- 12 to 15 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 C green pepper, chopped
- 1 C shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16 oz bag of tater tots
Instructions
- In a large skillet brown the hamburger, drain, add the onions and cook until soft.
- Add the soup and allow to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.
- Add to an 8×8 baking dish and smooth to cover bottom.
- Pour over the pizza sauce evenly.
- Add the pepperoni and peppers.
- Cover with cheese.
- Top with tater tots.
- Wrap tightly with foil.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
