EVOL Frozen Meals Swap- how we swapped one meal with an EVOL frozen meal- and loved it!

Yes, you read that right. I swapped out one of my homemade (or almost homemade) weeknight meals with a few EVOL Frozen Meals.

Look! It actually looks like the picture on the bag!

I am going to get REAL real for a moment. I think you may find some common ground here so be patient.

The work week is long- whether you are a work at home parent or a work out of the home parent- the struggle is real ya’ll. Early morning’s, missed buses, homework, laundry, sick kids, deadlines- you get the idea. So by the time Thursday rolls around it is every man for himself.  I cook FOR A LIVING and even I get tired of eating my food. Worse than that- I get tired of cleaning up my food.

Until recently I used those nights for bagged salad and rotisserie chicken. Healthier than ordering pizza, you know? I steered away form prepared meals and frozen items because I had yet to have found something that had real food in it. A few brands came close but never panned out or looked like the pretty picture on the box.

Enter in EVOL Frozen Meals. I find them locally at Meijer (you know how I love Meijer). I counted 14 different products in stock that day ranging from sides like chipotle mac n cheese, to meals for 2 to lime cilantro chicken burritos. They even have breakfast sandwiches, quesadillas and street tacos!

My oldest son loves these before swim practice! They have a LOT of protein in them!

Now before you click that big X in the corner and move on, let me explain. This isn’t your ordinary frozen food. It is good. I mean actually good. Lots of choices, easy to prepare and made well. Inspired flavors and created by people who care where their food comes from. The harsh reality is that many people think their food comes from the grocery store and they don’t think past that point.

EVOl gets their ingredient from real family farms in this country. It is made in this country. You can taste the ingredients and frankly, their chipotle chicken  burrito is better than what I could make. So there.

I want you to get a chance to try one of their products for yourself. I am giving away a coupon for ONE free EVOL item AND a $25 gift card for Meijer! Are you excited? This is $25 towards groceries!

All you have to do is leave me ONE comment (yes, you can only enter once) telling me which one of their products you would pick to share this real food with your family. See what they have going on HERE.

That’s it.

You can enter between May 14-25. I will draw one winner on the 25th at 9 pm est. Winner will be notified via email and have 24 hours to respond.

Open only to the contiguous 48 states but it makes sense to enter if a Meijer is in your state.

Good luck!
