Just when you thought you had seen it all…along comes these little gems. I am telling you I have never made anything easier. Ever. Well, except peanut butter and Jelly.
I have been making these for what seems like my whole life. I make them in the hundreds and that is no joke. I give them to practically everyone I know. They are an unbeatable combination of salty and sweet. Gooey and crunchy. Try to beat it…I dare you!
I love them because they look like little frogs. Tiny little pop-em in your mouth and go little presents and you can’t eat just one. You will be lucky to walk away without eating 4 or 5. 4 is my magic number
There isn’t much of a recipe to go along with these. On parchment lined cookie sheets I lay out pretzel ‘grids’ or small sized ‘braids’ . On top of each I place 1 unwrapped (duh
Rollo. Then I pop them in the oven at 250 degrees until just softened. This may take 4 minutes or so.
Then, after I take them out I place 1 whole pecan on top and squish it down slightly. That’s it! Once these have cooled and become more solid store in an airtight container.
I have also made these using a Hershey’s Hug (swirled white and dark chocolate) in a circle pretzel and then once soft I add 1 red and 1 green M & M. They look like little wreaths.
Yes, this is simple and yes, you may have made these before. But some of the best things I make and give at Christmas time are simple. But it is from the heart and to me that is ALL that counts

I made these a few days ago, using a recipe from one of the other blogs. So easy to make! Oh so delicious!

I’ve made these for my family for years for Christmas. They all love them. Always a big hit.
