Creamy risotto, when it’s cooked to perfection, is one of the most comforting rice dishes you can eat. Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite creamy risotto recipes with you, all of which can be made in less than 30 minutes.
I know quite a few people who believe that risotto is a difficult side dish to make. They have told me that it burns easily, or that it is too dry. The truth is, risotto is easy to make, but it does take some patience and attentiveness to cook it to perfection. It is not the sort of side dish that you can multi-task other responsibilities with. Think of it as a young toddler. If left unsupervised for too long, risotto can find its way into a lot of trouble. ????
The month of September is National Rice Month, so of course, I want to take the opportunity to share these creamy risotto recipes with you. I do love rice in just about any form, though. Sauteed Chicken, Black Beans and Coconut Rice is a favorite, as is my recipe for Taco Rice Skillet Dinner. One of my most popular rice recipes to date is Cooking Light’s Recipe for Chicken Fried Rice.
