Little Red Door Cancer Agency

I would like to thank everyone at the Little Red Door Cancer Agency for inviting me to be the guest “chef” for a few days during the Indiana State Fair this year. It was a great experience and as usual the lineup of recipes was fantastic. I snapped a few pictures when I was done with each dish- so they are not perfect. But you get the idea!

This is the second year that Little Red Door was at the Indiana State Fair. Executive Director and CEO Fred Duncan and Education and Outreach Coordinator Tiffany King conducted the cooking demos, which were held at 11 a.m. from August 1-17 in the DuPont Food Pavilion.

All of the recipes included ingredients that help prevent cancer. One-third of all cancer deaths are tied to poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and obesity.

Here are the 4 that I made. Each recipe name has the link to the LRDCA website and the recipe. I loved them all but my favorite had to be the pork! These are all going into my personal family recipe box because not only are they healthy, but they are economical and fast!
