Kids In The Kitchen: Making Toufayan Pita Chips for Their Sabra Hummus
Jacob and I like to get creative in the kitchen and a few weeks ago we did just that. He had been poking around online and caught one of my episodes on The Friday Zone where I made pita chips with Felix my little soux chef. He was inspired (AWESOME!!) and when I picked him up the next day from school he asked to make them with me.
I told him the recipe was designed so he could make them all by himself- so that’s what he did. I think spending time with kids in the kitchen is important for so many reasons. Not the least of which is we get to spend time together. How great is that?
He laid out all of his ingredients and got everything ready. Not to be outdone, he asked me to video tape him as well. This kid- he is so tech savvy like all kids seem to be these days. He then popped that video into his editing software and made his OWN little video!
