Weeknight Dinners~ A Gooseberry Patch Review and Giveaway

I am all about getting dinner on the table fast yet not sacrificing taste and quality.  I feel like many, many of us are in the same boat here.  Working in or out of the home all day, kids are going here and there, personal projects, homework-who has time to be a weeknight gourmet?  I sure don’t!

What I can appreciate is having a handy book of ideas at my fingertips and I have found that in Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks.  These kitchen tested recipes have been created by 2 wonderful ladies that my family and I had the pleasure of meeting earlier this year.  Not to mention that many recipes in their cookbook collections have been created by many of my foodie friends as well!

Recently I was asked by Gooseberry Patch to review a few of their new cookbooks and the first is Weeknight Dinners.  This collection of recipes is sorted into fun categories like Meatless Monday, Fun Friday…

I was able to go through and in 15 minutes completely plan my menu for the work week.  I made a quick list and was happy to see a lot of what I needed I had on hand already! Now my return to work after the holidays will be a smooth one.  I dread going back to the daily grind but at least my meals are taken care of!

Check out what I have made so far here: Mexicali Chicken Stack Ups (pg 48), White Chicken Chili (pg 162), Light and Healthy Fish Tacos (pg 81), Tropical Salsa (pg 80), Cheddar Dill Bread (pg 19), Cold Soba Noodle Salad (pg 32), Yummy Chicken Italiano (pg 112), Secret-Ingredient Mexican Beef (pg 67) ,No Bake Oatmeal Bars (178), and Upside Down Pizza Casserole (pg 212)
