This post is part of a monthly sponsored series, brought to you by Meijer . We’re sharing the savings you can experience in their store and online. Like all posts on Basilmomma.com, all opinions are my own. The thoughts here are created solely by me to educate, and hopefully, inspire you!
Easy holiday pitch-in recipes are here because this time of year calls for simple recipes to share with family and friends!
You know how it is. You get drafted to bring the ‘green vegetable’ or the ‘side dish’ – what does that even mean? If you are not super familiar with your own kitchen and are not the lead cook in the house, this seemingly simple request may not bring a ho, ho, ho feeling to your holidays. These easy holiday pitch-in recipes with a little help from savings from Meijer will have you singing Christmas carols in no time.
My favorite easy holiday pitch-in recipes:

A few of MY money saving tips:
This is a great time of year in that Meijer has sale after sale to help you save money. This is THE time of year to NOT go overboard on things you don’t need or impulse purchases. That’s why I am a firm believer in looking at the ad before I shop, then making a list I can stick to.
Pick up an ad flyer when you walk in the store, and take a quick look at it. The chances are good that some of the items you need will be on sale. This flyer probably arrives in your mailbox on Wednesdays, so don’t throw it away. Instead, use it to plan your shopping trip.
Take advantage of the mPerks app for on the fly savings on top of in-store deals and coupons! Yes, you can stack the savings! I cannot stay on top of coupons, I clip them, I lose them. But mPerks is my friend. Every time I shop I have earned some kind of savings. Just last week I got to use a $9 reward to save! Merry Christmas to ME!
