Earth Fare Greenwood , Indiana Now Open!

Earth Fare Greenwood

My sons and I had the pleasure of visiting Greenwood’s newest offering in the grocery department- Earth Fare! Adding to the list of new choices this area has recently gotten like Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, we now have more choices on how to feed ourselves and our families.

Earth Fare Greenwood

Prices reflect the price the day I was there.

I enjoyed our tour as we sampled this and that (yes, you can sample certain items before you buy- see a sales associate for details), asked questions and spoke with employees. My biggest takeaway was that there is a differentiation between organic produce tags (round) and non-organic (square) and gluten-free items have a different looking shelf within a shelf to find it easier.

Hey- there’s Best Boy!

Lots of beer- a few locals too!

Grab and go meals made in house.

My recommendation to you before you go is to visit their website. You need to get the lowdown on what special is running that day- like $5 rotisserie chickens, .99 cent per pound chicken breasts, free kids meal from the hot/cold bar with an adult hot/cold bar purchase (limit 6) and so on. Because there is a different deal every day. You can even get these updates in your inbox or via text. Check all of that out HERE.

Plethora of choices in the hot bar

For people who stink at cooking fish like me

Grab some cooked shrimp, a salad and dinner is done!

Earth Fare Greenwood

I’ll take all the bacon…

I could go on and on about the company, their values, their selection and dedication to providing healthy and preservative free food for their shoppers- but I won’t. Visit their website HERE for the whole kit and caboodle ????

Lots of wine. Only 2 selections from Indiana- but still- great wine at great prices

Earth Fare Greenwood

A great hot/cold bar

Filtered water 24 cents a gallon!

Veggies. Duh.

Several items, and I mean several, are marked with daily lows (look for red arrow pointing down) because they are a low price every day.

Want to win a $50 gift card to get you started? Just think of the meat, dairy, gluten-free ingredients and (cough) wine you can buy!

Leave me ONE comment below telling me what one specific item YOU would buy with your gift card. ONE winner will be drawn on Wednesday, July 23 at 9 pm est and notified via email.

I am excited to see how the fresh sea food is going to be. I also am excited about another great place to have options for our daughter who is a vegetarian.

I enjoyed opening day! I'd buy some of their fresh seafood! And steak for a romantic dinner for my hubby and I. Anyone tried the Cucumber Kolsch from Flat 12 Brewery?? Wondering if that is good?

One thing...wow that is hard! I definitely want to check out their select of gluten free items but the one thing I would buy is cooked fish because I'm not good at cooking fish either. My son and I love eating fish so we would enjoy this (my husband not so much lol!). Their fresh fruit looks great too.

Hmmm...decisions, decisions...If I had to pick just one item, it would be organic peanut butter. Yum! Or some Cinnamon Raisin Ezekial bread...I guess that's two items!

I would buy essential oils. And if they don't sell that, I'd buy meat, probably steak which is something I don't often buy.

I haven't been there yet so I don't know exactly what I would buy but I would definitely be looking for fresh fruits and veggies. I'm also interested in seeing what other kinds of healthier options they have.
