Kid-friendly after-school snacks are important to have ready for your kids when they walk in the door. For the sake of their well being, it’s also important that the snacks are at least somewhat nutritionally healthy.

The kid-friendly after-school snacks in this roundup are healthy, easy to make, and kids really do love them! What’s even better is that some of the snacks can be made by the kids themselves, which is great for kids at home alone.

If your kids are old enough to use a stove top or microwave, you can teach them to help you make dinner. This pepperoni pizza pasta salad is a recipe that my kids love to help me make.

The collage below can be used to pin all of the recipes at one time to your favorite Pinterest board, or if you prefer, click the links to pin each one individually.

Kid-Friendly After-School Snacks

Peanut Butter Banana Flatbreads

*****

Best Blueberry-Lime Muffins: Blueberries and limes pair perfectly in these made-from-scratch muffins.

Creamy Chocolate Raspberry Fruit Dip – Made with fresh whipped cream and raspberries, this sweet dip is a favorite of mine.

Tzatziki Chicken Salad on Crackers – This serves as a great snack, but also as lunch or a light dinner.

*****

Easy Fruit and Vegetable Juices that you can make in a blender are so healthy and delicious. No expensive juicing machine is needed!

Honey Crisp Apple Bread is delicious, and the aroma of it baking in the oven is so delightful, you may think you’re in an apple orchard.

No Bake Granola Balls are a great snack, and they’re easy to customize to whatever ingredients you have in your pantry.

*****

Fruit Infused Water: It can be difficult to get kids to drink enough water during the day. Infusing water with fruit is the only way that my boys will drink it now.

Banana Coconut Vanilla Smoothie: This smoothie tastes like a virgin pina colada. If you’re a grown up, go ahead and add a splash of rum into your glass. ????

One Bowl Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins: These muffins are made in just one bowl, but that is only one reason to love them – wait until you taste them!
