T-Fal Skillet Barbecued Salmon {Plus T-Fal Cookware Review}

August 28, 2013 By admin 1 comment

Welcome! Are you a subscriber? Click here to receive my weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

I used a T-Fal skillet to make barbecued salmon with fresh sweet corn relish. It’s a heart healthy, flavorful, and easy seafood dinner that you can grill indoors or outdoors.

Disclosure: I was given a T-Fal skillet (part of the 12-piece T-Fal cookware set),  for testing and review purposes, at no cost to me, by T-Fal and Cooking Planit.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A few weeks ago I told you that I was reviewing a set of T-Fal cookware. Well, I have been using them exclusively since then to get a feel for the pans and decide what I thought of them.  I was only TOO happy to get rid of what I already had- those pots and pans had seen better days.

I debuted the 12 inch skillet at the Indiana State Fair in my live cooking demo for Little Red Door Cancer Agency.  I was asked to make this healthy, low fat and cancer fighting barbecued salmon.  What better time to try out my new skillet?

My thoughts on the T-Fal skillet and cookware set:

The non-stick coating allows cooking without the use of excess oils or butter. I had absolutely no problems cooking this salmon with no added fats. It didn’t stick at all and actually, it slid right out of the pan onto the plate!

I really like this cookware set.  Everything from the measurement markings on the inside of the stock pots to the high quality construction. These will really hold up to the abuse they will get in my kitchen!

Here’s the recipe for the barbecued salmon that I made in the 12-inch T-Fal skillet.

Not only is it easy to make, but it is healthy and full of Omega-3 fatty acids. The sweet corn relish is the perfect pairing with it; full of pure summer goodness.
