One of my favorite days in Indiana is the Dig IN: A Taste of Indiana. We have so much to be proud of and this is a day to shine! So many people work hard to pull this event off without a hitch from farmers to chefs, artisans to volunteers- it takes a small village to coordinate this spectacular day.
Nestled in the confines of White River State Park in Downtown Indianapolis, Dig IN is a celebration of the farmers bounty and chef’s creativity. From craft beer to Indiana wine, out of this world flavor combinations to food you will remember for days to come Dig IN has something for everyone.

Indiana Family of Farmers is the hosting sponsor of this years event that honors the dedication of Hoosier growers. I am fortunate enough to know many of the contributing farmers personally and I am aware of the hard work that is required to sustain and live on a family farm. I am looking forward to seeing what they ‘bring to the table‘ this year.
You hear about the chefs and you taste their wonderful dishes. Dig IN is the best place in Indiana to do that. But have you ever wondered about the men, women and families who grow and produce the raw materials those talented chefs use? The fresh vegetables, the locally raised meats, the cheese and dairy?
Dig IN isn’t only about the food and those who cook it. As important, it’s about the local ingredients and the families who grow them. Indiana Family of Farmers wants you to come to dig IN to meet, talk with and learn more about the Hoosier farmers who are responsible for our most local of foods.
