Summer break is the perfect time to get kids into the kitchen and show them how to cook up simple, wholesome, family friendly meals. Especially if you work and have to leave the kids at home alone. These recipes will give them healthier options for their meals so they can avoid eating junk food all day long.
I shared these 4 easy summer recipes on last week’s episode of IndyStyle. I found the recipes on the Produce For Kids website. I love to use them as a resource because their recipes are kid-friendly, quick and easy to make, and wholesome, too. I picked up all of the ingredients I needed at Meijer.
During summer break, many kids are home while their parents are working, and they have to fend for themselves when it comes to meal time. To keep them from grazing all day (or not eating at all!), arm them with a few easy and healthy recipes to keep them full and happy.
