It’s a time honored tradition- children everywhere setting out a cold glass of milk and a little plate of cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Every Christmas, this is the last thing we do before we go to bed, even now that the boys are bigger. It just isn’t Christmas Eve without it milk and cookies for Santa! We use the same plate every year, too. I need to get another one just like the one that I have so each of the boys can keep it when they have their own family traditions. Leaving milk and cookies for Santa is a memory I cherish.

This year we are leaving out one of our family favorites: Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies and a glass of cold whole white milk! Jacob made these cookies a few years ago as a 4-H project and won a blue ribbon!
