Welcome! Are you a subscriber? Click here to receive my weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

I was recently invited by my friends at Seasons 52 in Indianapolis, Indiana to sample their new Summer menu!
As usual, I was overwhelmed by their fresh pairings, unique recipes and use of fresh and local ingredients. I love these nights because we get to sit and chat with the Chef, Bill Erath, and the management staff along with the lovely ladies that make up some of the fantastic staff at S52Indy.
I am going to share a few pictures from our meal. I did not take all of these as mine were way too dark. I did, however, live tweet and Instagram my photos of each course as we were served. Find me on Instagram at: basilmommaht

From the Artichoke & Goat Cheese Flatbread to the Watermelon, Arugula, golden beet and goat cheese salad, each course was better than the next! We sampled several wines that complemented each dish as well like: Hirsch Gruner Veltliner, Aveleda Vihno Verde (my favorite), Chehalem INOX (my other favorite) and Markham Cellar 1879 Cabernet (OK, I had 3 favorites)!

Piedmontese Steak- Low fat, low calorie and  the most flavorful cur of meat I have ever had!
I love, loved this platter! The peppers, the Ancient grain salad, the taco….super fresh AND vegetarian!

Cold lobster and shrimp spring rolls, Dee-Lish!
Matt wanted to put these in my purse…..SO good!
I am not sure what I like better…The Piedmontese steak that was like butter (and LEAN) or the smoked salmon over corn risotto. I ate it all!
Dessert. Who could say no? Plus, the small size is easier on the waistline. Except when you eat 4….

Seasons 52 Partners with ATLANTICO Rum
The fresh grill & wine bar serves two specialty cocktails featuring
ATLANTICO Reserva & ATLANTICO Platino
Watermelon Refresher
Orlando, FL (July 10, 2012) – Seasons 52, the highly acclaimed fresh grill and wine bar restaurant, today announced it is partnering with ATLANTICO to provide two signature cocktails featuring the spirit’s Reserva and Platino rums.  ATLANTICO Rum partner and international music sensation, Enrique Iglesias, personally introduced the ATLANTICO Rum to Seasons 52.
“I am excited that ATLANTICO Rum has become part of the Seasons 52 family,” said Iglesias. “One of my favorite restaurants is joining with my passion, ATLANTICO Rum, to create two signature cocktails.”
Available exclusively at Seasons 52 throughout the summer, the Watermelon Refresher is made with ATLANTICO Platino, fresh watermelon, and agave nectar; the Strawberry Lemon Euphoria is made with ATLANTICO Reserva, fresh strawberry, lemon juice, lemon wedges and mint.
While most rums are produced using either molasses or cane juice, ATLANTICO rums are produced using both, providing the highest quality product.  The hand-crafted Platino is an incredibly smooth and flavorful light, white rum that can easily be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in select cocktails.  It is clean with notes of citrus and vanilla.  Reserva is a more complex rum with hints of toffee and oak and is aged between 6-15 years, using cane juice and molasses, aged in separate barrels for three years, then blended together and aged for another two years, and finished by a third aging process known as the “solera” method.  Once the rums reach the peak of perfection, they are removed from the barrels and bottled by hand.
“Enrique is a great supporter of Seasons 52,” said Stephen Judge, president of Seasons 52.  “We are thrilled to add ATLANTICO to our beverage program that always offers guests something new to discover.”
