Spicy, Sweet and Fluffy…..

Welcome! Are you a subscriber? Click here to receive my weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

I would like to spotlight a few more of the items I am giving away in my Indiana Favorites Giveaway!

First is a company that I have just recently become a fan of, Shoups Country Foods !  We sampled a few of their products at the Indiana State Fair and I struck up a conversation with the owners about spices, sauces, etc.  I love this homegrown company and was please to find out that I can find their products at my local Marsh Supermarket!

Next up is this cute shopping bag from Vera Bradley Designs.  I have been carrying Vera Bradley for years.  I love their selection of fabrics and bag styles.  Both of the diaper bags I used for the boys were Vera Bradley and I have maybe 15 or so other pieces I have accumulated over the years.  Great company founded by 2 Indiana women.  That alone gives them my vote!

Another of my favorites is 240sweet Artisan Marshmallows !  Who would have thought that a marshmallow could taste So good!  I have had several of their products but my absolute favorites are: Elephant Ear (covered in cinnamon and sugar), Nutella and Peanut Butter and Jelly.  I can not tell you how much I love these!  I have even served these to guests and they thought I made them!  They are inexpensive and just plain good.  Check out their extensive list of flavors!

If you are from the Indiana area you are probably familiar with Dillman Farms  in Bloomington.  I have been going there for years for their fresh jams, preserves, jellies, fudge and salsas.  I have never had their equal, ever.  Their peach preserves were the base for my peach butter in my Sweet Potato Pancakes with Peach Butter post from a few weeks ago.  This local, family owned company has been in business since 1970. I was lucky enough to get to meet one of the owners and she is a sweet woman!  They recently lost most of their production facility (and house) to a tornado and they are more determined than ever to rebuild better and stronger!

****Don’t forget to leave a comment on this post for an extra entry and if you want…share this on your facebook wall!  Make sure to tag my Basilmomma Facebook page so I know to give you another entry ????

Hi, Heather! I never knew Vera Wang was out of Indiana. (The things I learn on food blogs.) :) All of these products sound wonderful -- you have good reason to be proud of your state!

Being from Indiana, I love reading about these! I knew about Vera Bradley, and have had 240 Sweet marshmallows, but hadn't had the others, so winning would be sweet! (Or savory....depending on the prize!) :=_
