My VO5…..

Welcome! Are you a subscriber? Click here to receive my weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

I never thought I would be posting about a hair product, but when you have had the hair history that I have, then finally success…..well, you just have to share.

I have had hair woes for a few years now. Ever since I was diagnosed with a form of breast cancer a few years ago my hair has never been the same. Combine that with miscellaneous meds, crazy vitamins, then chemical hair color…THIS is a recipe for hair disaster!

So then I go to BlissDom and get an appointment for a hair blow out in the VO5 suite, before the big Girls Night Out Event.  While I am waiting, a VO5 rep talked my ear off about their shampoo line and made recommendations for my hair type. She then proceeded to load me down with not one, not two but 6 full-sized bottles of shampoo and matching conditioner.  It was a sign!

Fast forward to now.  I have been using this every day and never before has my hair been so soft and bouncy. I have used many high dollar shampoos and styling aides over the years but never has a shampoo given me what I wanted.  A great clean feeling AND my hair smells great! I catch my husband catching up a strand of my hair and smelling it when I fall into bed every night.  I have to admit, it’s pretty sexy….

I have long hair, and that’s not likely to change anytime soon. I want to take care of my hair but not spend a mint doing it. I love that my hair feels moisturized all day.  I have had some great results combined with my daily use of either coconut oil and Moroccan oil as well as using heat tools sparingly.  I even avoid blow drying my hair unless I have to.

This is NOT a paid endorsement, I just like to share great products when I come across them.  Check them out on your next trip to the store, you can’t beat their price point.

My favorite is the shampoo for added body. I love the feel of my hair after I use it and the smell brings me back to the VO5 hot oil that I used as a teenager. I just couldn’t resist the commercials of the woman with the beautiful flowing locks all because she used a tube of hot oil on her hair ????
