I love an easy meal that makes me forget that I love a good sweet and sour Asian take-out dish. Who doesn’t want to learn how to make their favorite ‘eating out’ dishes themselves? Like these peach sweet and sour meatballs!
I really like traditional sweet and sour sauces but the kind you can eat out are typically too sweet and way too red. Almost unnaturally red.
So when I had both a bounty of fresh peaches AND a new shipment of Al Fresco chicken sausage meatballs then I started brainstorming my favorite flavors and tastes. My oldest son suggested a peach sweet and sour sauce and the rest is-History!
If you do not have access to Al Fresco meatballs then use whatever you have. Whether you make your own or find a great substitute at the grocery-just make sure you use something lean and pre-cooked for this recipe.
These sweet and sour meatballs are so easy to make, you’ll definitely want to Pin the recipe!
