Meat, Cheese and Veggie Quiche: A Little Red Door Cancer Agency Door to Wellness Recipe – (and a few other quiche recipes)

This month’s Door to Wellness cooking class feature was: eggs. The perfect food and one of the cheapest forms of protein you can buy. What better recipe to share with the class than a simple quiche!

An Assembly line of quiche!

Quiche recipes aren’t just easy, they’re also a complete meal that you can make ahead. Don’t let the fancy name fool you!

Prepping for class

Everyone takes part in the food prep if they so choose.

This guy. I think he is my biggest fan. Little does he know I think he is amazing.

A new guest came to class and she shared some great ideas with me for other ways to make quiche!

Little Red Door provides a great service to those who need help, guidance, and more in Central Indiana. Like many service organizations, there is a need at LRDCA for items to stock the kitchen for these classes. New or gently used kitchen appliances (large and small), linens, serving pieces, silverware, knives and other assorted cooking equipment that you no longer need would be greatly appreciated. These cooking classes teach the clients of LRDCA as well as their caregivers how to prepare economical and healthy meals. Each class has between 10-12 attendees which create a meal with the teacher (me) to serve for the 30+ guests that day for lunch. This is a valuable experience on so many levels and I for one am a better person being a part of this. Please let me know if you have any questions or if YOU or your business would like to help in any way. Thank you!
