Like last year, I assigned myself the fun chore of trying a bunch of outrageous fair food and sharing it with my friends at IndyStyle. Except last year I shared my traditional favorites and the wildest I got was funnel cake with a fruit topping. This year I not only scoured the Indiana State Fair for unique eats- I brought a friend! Don’t judge me- but this was my lunch every day I had a show at the fair. Somehow managed to lose 26 pounds in the month of August….

This year Indiana Pork had a Slaw-B_Que sandwich that I really liked!
But THIS year I kicked the tasty fun up a notch and set out to find THE most outrageous fair foods to share on IndyStyle and I brought along my friends Sean Copeland of B105.7 along for the fun. We discovered mac n cheese nachos, beef sundaes, pig sticks, bison egg rolls and what is quite possibly the BEST funnel cake ever!
You may or may not get a bit of the glorious powdered sugar and cinnamon on you when you eat one of the best funnel cakes EVER from C&E Concessions!
Haystacks from Red Frazier Bison- the best fresh chips I have ever had. Thin, crispy and lightly seasoned.
If you are an Indiana resident then you have probably heard of Ben’s Pretzels. Pretzels aren’t outrageous BUT their fresh from the oven, soft texture sure is! Lightly salted, I ate mine plain.
She was a pretzel making pro!
Deep fried Smore- because we had to have SOMETHING deep fried, didn’t we?
Greek French Fries.
Philly Cheesesteak Bison Eggrolls-all.Day.Long. Loved them.
