Healthy no bake snacks are convenient to have on hand to help curb hunger during the day, to put into lunch boxes, and as after school snacks for kids. Today, we’re sharing 5 of our favorite recipes for healthy no bake snacks.

If you take one look on Pinterest or in a Google search, you’ll see recipes for thousands of no bake snacks that claim to be healthy. The same thing can be said about many of the convenient boxed snack bars in the grocery store aisles.

Here’s the catch, though: They probably have some healthy ingredients in them like whole grains, nuts, seeds, or dried fruits, but many of those same products and recipes use or call for the use of highly processed ingredients and sugars that aren’t all natural.  Even when they’re made in a healthy way, it’s important to look at the overall nutrition of snacks because whole grains, dried fruits, and natural sugars like honey and maple syrup can still be pretty high in calories. When they’re all used together in a recipe, those calories can add up quickly.

This isn’t meant to scare you, just to keep you informed and remind you to check the nutrition labels on the products you buy so you can make informed purchases. When you’re making healthy no bake snacks at home from a recipe, you can always adjust the amount of sweeteners that are used or swap high calorie ingredients out for lower calorie ones if you need or want to.

Here are recipes for 5 of our favorite easy, quick, and healthy no bake snacks.
