Indiana’s Food Artisans

(Watch my IndyStyle segment from 3/18 HERE)

One of the many things I love about Indiana is the rich food culture Indiana has. Yes, Indiana. From one of a kind eateries to some of the best small batch artisanal products- Indiana can keep you satisfied. On March 29-30 you will have the unique opportunity to sample some of the best products that Indiana has to offer all in one place- the Indiana Artisan Marketplace at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Get more info HERE. From unique and handmade chocolates to bourbon barrel caramel, flavored popcorn to Indiana wine-there is something there for everyone and at every price point. I wanted to share this bounty of foodists with you all and in my small way I am doing so. See the complete list of foodists HERE and tune into IndyStyle on Tuesday March 18th and Fox59 on Friday March 28th to see how I use artisan foods in MY kitchen.

Here are a few of the many products you can find at the Indiana Artisan Marketplace:

My family went last year and my daughter fell in love with the Benedictine Sisters ginger snap cookies. I am a fan of 240 Sweet.

Seeing the Captain Jim's sauces would be a must to try. As an avid SCUBA Diver, anything with the name Captain in it really attracts my attention.

I'm a huge--big--HUGE fan of Chocolate for the Spirit (that's how I found out about this contest--from Chocolatier Julie's Facebook page)! But I can't wait to try Coe's Noodles! Such opposite ends of the spectrum, eh? Chocolate & pasta. But both are total comfort foods!
