The kids get to dress up and get candy so why can’t we have a little treat for ourselves? I say make up a pitcher of this Wednesday and then get all of your friends together for a post candy check drink while the kids chow down on their ‘fun sized’ treats!
I shared this on B105.7 with Sean Copeland today and regretfully- I do not have a photo yet. I will have one up by Thursday though. Because I WILL be making this again this year.
On a side note: I make a version of this for my kids. To be fun I add a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream to it when shaking-right before serving. If you can afford the calories it is good in the adult version too.
Serving Size 4 oz
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup vodka (even vanilla would do)
- 2/3 cup white chocolate liqueur OR Marshmallow flavored liqueur
- Ice cubes
- whipped cream
- White chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except in a pitcher.
- Place in the refrigerator (covered) to chill for 3-24 hours.
- For each drink, add ice cubes into a cocktail shaker with 4 oz of the milk mixture.
- Cover, shake and pour (strain) into glasses.
- Top with whipped cream.
- To be fun sprinkle with white chocolate shavings or top Halloween candy.
