Memorial Day is just around the corner and some say it’s the official kick off to summer. That said, 75% of car seats are installed incorrectly (NHTSA)! Greater Indianapolis car seat manufacturer Dorel Juvenile Group, the makers of Cosco and Safety 1st, are committed to keeping children safe and is hosting the World’s Largest Car Seat Check at this year’s Indy 500 Community Day on Wednesday May 22nd from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

All families that get a car seat checked will be entered to win an iPad!
In addition, at the car seat check, Safety 1st is unveiling its revolutionary Air Protect®+ G-Cell HX Technology. The technology was developed in partnership with racecar engineers at Bald Spot Sports and INDY Car Driver Scott Dixon to better understand the energy dynamics a high performance driver faces in the event of a crash. Scott Dixon will also be at the car seat check, for pictures and autographs!
