Berry Healthy Frozen Yogurt

This frozen yogurt is sooo good that I thought it deserved it’s own post! I buried it at the end of yesterday’s column in the paper (and post) and I don’t know if many people checked out!

This is one frozen treat you can feel good about eating. Creamy, smooth and refreshing this is something that I make again and again!

I switch it up from time to time depending on what I have. I also use soy or Greek yogurt, too.

Berry Healthy Frozen Yogurt

1 pound of washed and sliced strawberries or 1 bag of unsweetened frozen strawberries, thawed
2 ripe bananas, cut into large slices
6 ounces of vanilla yogurt, fat free or light
1 C of orange juice
1/4 C honey

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.  Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until the desired consistency.  Also great as a popsicle!

Also a great after school treat!
