Pepperoni Stuffed French Bread
Do you ever make something fantastic that is not much of a recipe and more of a procedure? I do this all of the time. Pepperoni Stuffed French Bread is one such meal. Yes, I called it a meal because all you need is some marinara (or in my case sauce on my plate form leftover chicken parm) for dipping and you are set.
Pepperoni Stuffed French Bread is so easy, so friendly on the budget and guess what: your kids will love it! I made what amounted to a 24 inch loaf and my kids fought over the last 2 slices. Nevermind they consumed the whole thing except for the 2 slices I grabbed for my husband and I. Best part, besides the taste, is the fact that Jacob and I did this together. That’s right- this recipe is so easy your kids can do it!
This is very similar to many stuffed bread recipes I have made in that well- it is stuffed. But what I like about this is I am only using a dusting of Parm, no butter and nothing I will regret the next day ( I am trying to eat healthier after all) 🙂
Because this is very simple I am showing you the procedure in pictures.
1 roll of Pillsbury French bread
1 TB dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 C grated Parmesan
1 TB olive oil
25-30 slices of pepperoni
Knife, cookie sheet, Silpat or parchment paper
