September is a bad month for me. It is a month full of birthdays in my family. Having just come off of the ‘back to school month’ September is my third most expensive month of the year following December and August.
I am not cheap and I am certainly not a miser, but I do try to only spend money on what I need. I do not want to work until I am 85, I have a plan and I don’t want a cute purse to thwart my plans 
I am always looking for gifts that are a bit off the grid, unique yet still what the recipient will want. There is nothing worse than giving a lackluster gift. I want to make someone’s day! Brighten their special event!
So, I have a birthday coming up and thankfully this person is a wine lover. Give them a nice loaf of bread, a stinky cheese and a bottle and they will love you forever. My kind of person!
