Bacon Roasted Chickpeas….

I should do a whole series on bacon.  Bacon waffles, bacon brownies now bacon roasted chickpeas?
Of course!
This makes enough for me for a few days. Double if you need more :) I bet you will! Make sure you store it in an airtight container, especially if your house is very humid.



Bacon Roasted Chickpeas
1 15 oz can of chickpeas, rinsed , dried and any loose skins removed
2 TB of bacon grease, YES bacon grease
pinch of salt/pepper to taste
pinch of dried rosemary, rub in your hands to break up

Mix contents in a small bowl.  Spread out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes until crunchy and not soft.  I also toss them half way through to bake them evenly.
